What is Carboxytherapy with Carbomed?

Carboxytheraphy is a new, simple and reliable application which is applying CO2 gas to the local fatty places with cellultie after maternity in places where there are cracks.

How is Carboxytheraphy Applied?

It is not a surgical method. It is injecting CO2 gas saturated with CARBO-MED equipment into hypodermic tissue with 30G-0.3mm microlance lancet.

What is Carbondioxyde’s Mechanism of Action?

First, CO2 mechanically acts directly on the fat cells to break down fat cells. Secondly, there is the effect of vasodilation (expansion in the blood vessels) on the capillary vessels in the region. The expansion of the veins results in stronger and more blood flow in the area. As a result, due to increased metabolism and perfusion in the tissue fat cells are accompanied by shrinkage and reduction, resulting in a firmer and more natural tissue.

Is Carbondioxyide Toxic?

No. Even when given in high amounts, CO2  wasn’t toxic. The arterial pressure does not increase and there is no change in O2 and CO2 partial pressure. We can give 2 examples to this:a.       Our body produces 200 cc O2 in resting state. In case of this exercise, it increases 10 times. The dose used in the treatment is optimally considered within this rangeb.       Laparoscopic surgery is used to inflate the CO2 abdomen and complete the procedure.

Does It Hurt?

No. Some patients feel a little sense of itch in the injection area. This situation only lasts seconds. Due to the increased circulation, the temperature increase in the applied region is observed together with hyperemia.

How Many Sessions are Needed?

On average 15-20 sessions is applied. To get rid of cellulite it should be done every other day. Sometimes 1-2 times a week is enough. This depends on the degree of the cellulite. For local weight loss, 2 times is enough.

In How Many Sessions Some Improvement can be Seen?

After the fifth session you may notice that your body is healthier. After eighth and tenth sessions hypodermic tissue will be felt more firmly. After treatment your skin will be more tense and cellulite will be minimum.

How does CO2 Work on Cellulite?

In addition to the therapeutic effect mentioned, it is aimed to morphologically and functionally restructure the microcirculation, increase the blood flow rate and quantity which is the basis of the cellulite, and reduce the fluid in the cells to remove the oil and fibrosis in the hypodermis. Natural metabolism is stimulated in the local area for a week. With the increase of microcirculation, the toxins are removed (= detoxication). The destruction in fat tissue has now begun.

Can it be applied to every part of the body where cellulite occurs?

Yes. It is a treatment method in cellulite and ideal for women of all ages. It is an effective and reliable treatment method.

How are the Results?

The effect is seen instantly, tissue quality is immediately increased. The skin becomes softer nad there is thinning in the application area. The most important effect is the increase of microcirculation, which can not be seen with this eye but can be followed by videocapillaryoscopy

What is videocapillaryoscopy?

A non-invasive method, the physician evaluates the morphological continuity of capillaries and the population increase of active capillaries with a 200 x 200 mm camera attached to the monitor.

Is there an Academic Research about this done by a University?

Yes. Morphological studies on microanjiology and microcirculation were carried out at Siena University in Italy.

CO2 Effect on Cellulite Treatment in a few words?

As a result of recent clinical trials, cellulite originates from changes in microcirculation. The venous and lymphatic structures of connective tissue are damaged. As a result, microcirculation has come to a halt and tissue can not meet its own metabolic needs. However, free radicals accumulate more in this area and edema formation develops. Along with CO2 application, all these negative conditions described above are reversed. Edema is removed and lipolyisis occurs. Excellent results are obtained in the long run. In young people, this method is used as a preventive treatment.

In what other areas CO2 treatment is applied?

Aesthetics- Cellulite and Local Fat
Urology- Erectile Dysfunction
Dermatology- Psoriasis and Varicose Ulcers
Rheumatology ,- Rheumatoid Arthritis and Acute Arthritis
Cardiology- Peripheral Arteriopathies

How many patients are Treated?

By 1983, 402,000 patients were treated only in French Royatta capsules. In 1994 alone, 20,000 new patients were treated. In all of these patients, the efficacy of the treatments as well as the reliability of the treatment has been proven.

What is its relation with Mesotheraphy?

There is no relation between them, they are totally different applications. It can be confused with biomezoesthetic application after treatment, but this application is also not related to mesotherapy application.

Is Diabetes or Addison’s Disease an obstruction to Carboxy treatment?

No,there is no obstruction.

Is there a risk of Emboli forming?

No. The best example of this is the fact that the amount of CO2 given during cardiovascular surgeries is rather high but does not cause problems. The second example is the use of CO2 in laparoscopic surgery. As a result, no problems were encountered in the application of carboxytherapy to the area and dose rate we applied.

Does Tachycardia Occur During Treatment?

No. There is no mechanism that can cause tachycardia during treatment.

What should be the treatment delay limit?

It should not exceed 1 week of delay due to private conditions after the start of the treatment .

When does the effect start and how long does it last?

The effect starts to be seen after 3-5 sessions. The post-treatment effect lasts for a maximum of 5 to 6 months. During this period, if the patient is not sensitive to nutritional habits and does not have an exercise, he / she will start to see unfavorable outcomes during this period.

Is There Something That Can Cause Therapy Termination?

The only thing that can lead to termination of treatment is that the patient has phobia against this practice. This phobia may be against all applications that are used for weaknesses, and it is not related to the simple security of the application, but rather specific to the individual.

Are There Different Affects For Treatment Of Diseases?

Very small percent 1-2% of patients after  treatment

  • Decrease in smoking needs of smokers after treatment
  • After CO2 treatment, the same evening it showed impressive improvement in sleep quality.

Patents and Approvals

The Carbomed carboxytherapy system is the only patented system developed for the application of carbon dioxide treatment to the tissue in the world and certified to conform to European Union health norms. Especially when attempted to be imitated, the risk of using the models is great and legal use is not the issue. Therefore, those who use imitations are as responsible as those who produce imitators.
Ultra Skin technology is a treatment that provides tightness and tension to the skin by inducing collagen production using sound waves focused on the carrier tissues of the skin’s lower layers. Because of the loss of skin tightness with ultraskin, recovery without surgery and rejuvenation is provided around eyebrow, forehead, cheek, mouth, face contour, jaw line, food area, décolletage area and wrinkled eye. It is the only method that has the effect on deep tissues using focused ultrasound technology and without surgical intervention.
